How to Add wigdet in Blogger Header

Probably you have seen many bloggers have added adsense or other ad units to their blog header. It is really a profitale place for ads like 468x60. You can also increase your earnings by adding ad units there. First create a backup of your templetes. Follow the tricks-

1> Log in to your blogger header. --> Goto templete --> Edit HTML
2> Click on anywhere in the HTML box.
3> Press CTRL + F to find.

4> Search for the following code-

<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'> <b:widget id='Header1' locked='true' title='My Test Blog (Header)' type='Header'/> </b:section>

5> Repace the above code ith it.

<b:section id='header-right' showaddelement='yes'/> <div style='clear: both;'/>
6> It should be like this-
<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'> <b:widget id='Header1' locked='true' title='Tweak My Blogger (Header)' type='Header'/> </b:section> <b:section id='header-right' showaddelement='yes'/> <div style='clear: both;'/>
7> Now search for the following code- ]]></b:skin>
8> Add the following code just above it.
#header {display:inline-block;_float:left;} #header-right {display:inline-block;float:right;padding:15px 15px 15px 15px;} #header-right .widget {margin:0;} body#layout #header {width: 50%;} body#layout #header-right {width: 50%;}
9> Now search for the code- ]]> </b:template-skin>
10> Paste the following code just above it.

#layout #header {width: 50%; float: left;} #layout #header-right {width: 50%; float: right;}
11> Save the template and goto layout. You will see two column header. :)
