Get a rush of traffic to your blog from Reddit

Reddit is a news and entertainment website, where registered users can post text contents or links. The posts which get maximum likes among the latest posts, shown in the front page of the site. Global rank of Reddit is 125 and rank in US is 57. From this stats I hope you will get concept about the popularity of reddit. Most of the visitors are coming from US, UK, Australia, Canada etc. If you want to get a lot of visitors to your blog/website follow the guidelines.
If you want to post link or text, you must be a registered user of reddit. So first register at reddit. Register users are called reddiquette.

 After a minute or two,visitors are starting to come your site or blog. To know your visitors,  you can use the widget of whu.amung.us. It informs you how many visitors are in your blog/website at present, from where they are coming, which page they are visiting. I have a post "celebrities who look alike", when I post this link in reddit, I got near about 650 views within an hour.

But their is also some limitations of reddit.

1> Don't expect that all your links will get huge visitors.Even some of your posts cannot bring any traffic.

2> Don't post your links frequently.Give a time space between two posts. I will recommend 1day or more.

3> Reddit can give you a lot of visitors but for a little period. First two or three hours you will get huge traffic.

Then the number of visitors will decrease with hours, and after two days , the visitors from reddit become vanished. Remember, it happens unless  you could get a lot of likes and get listed in the front page of  your

reddit or subreddit.

4> Choose a correct subreddit. It will help to drive the maximum traffic to your blog/website.

5> Post your link at 9 PM IST or 3.30 PM GMT. At this time US, Canada, OR UK's visitors are on the rise in my experience.
